Word of the Week: Perichoresis

Perichoresis

Definition: Refers to the inter-relatedness of the Triune God, the divine dance of the Trinity.

Origin: Combination of the Greek peri which means ‘around’ and chorein which means many things including ‘contain, step forward, make room for, approach’

Example: The Trinity is in constant perichoresis and we cannot tell if it is God, Jesus, or the Spirit leading the divine dance.
