A prayer shawl is a hand made symbol of love and connection created prayerfully for those who are facing large life issues such as health challenges. Each shawl is blessed and delivered to the individual of need. Wearing a prayer shawl is like being wrapped in God’s loving arms. Prayer shawl meetings are irregular, please contact the church for more information.
The women’s group meets every Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Plura Hills United. Each meeting lasts roughly an hour and a half and included tea and coffee. This is a safe space for fellowship and support, much of the pastoral work of the congregation is do within and through this group. These wonderful women also use this time for church event planning and brainstorming. This is an open group to all women, please come join us for a morning of friendship and fun.
A gathering of people who join to share in prayer. We meet Thursday mornings at 10:30 at someone’s house (contact the church for weekly location). During this time we put forward individual and community prayers. Rev. Kirstin Autio facilitates and puts these prayers together, leaving space for silence and others to pray out loud. There’s often refreshments after prayer. These prayer sessions are open to anyone who feels moved to come, so please join us.
